Tall Ships, Charlestown

Tall Ships is an elegant and spacious Georgian style cottage, located in the heart of the historic port of Charlestown.  Nestled at the end of a tucked away lane, it is just a moment away from the UNESCO World Heritage harbour, the perfect backdrop for Poldark, many TV dramas and films.  The property has been remodelled, both inside and out, to an exacting specification, with two luxurious bathrooms, a modern, sociable kitchen and bifold doors opening out to the SW facing, private, courtyard garden.

Charlestown is a remarkable blend of both heritage and contemporary.  The inner harbour welcomes the public and comes with seasonal pop-ups, along with experiences both on and off the water.  Enjoy mouth-watering BBQ feasts, fish tacos, pizzas and frozen cocktails whilst taking in the stunning quayside views.  Throughout the year, there are endless food delights to be had in a range of celebrated restaurants and cafes; everything from breakfast through to supper!

Tall Ships sleeps six guests in three well-appointed bedrooms.  The master boasts a super king size (6ft) bed and two further bedrooms have flexible zip and link beds.

The cottage is smoke and pet free.      Children over the age of 5 are welcome.

Throughout the season, reservations are on a weekly basis, with holidays commencing on Saturdays.  Shorter breaks may be available during quieter times – contact ahoy@harbour2horizon.co.uk

Cool Places recommends Tall Ships as one of the best self catering places to stay in Britain.
